For the fifth and final single in advance of his “Trip to Sanity” album, Oliver Koletzki teams up with a true heavyweight of the scene – the techno-pop-legend that is Fritz Kalkbrenner. The result, “Heart on Hold”, marries Kalkbrenner’s unmistakable vox and emotive lyrics with Koletzki’s punchy production, lacing atmospheric synths through a brooding bass-line and driving beat.

Bulgarian allrounder Pavel Petrov and Stil vor Talent faves Hidden Empire each then bring their own unique touch to “Heart on Hold” by way of two contrasting remixes. While Petrov uses Fritz’s vocals sparingly on-top a flexing electro-acid workout, Hidden Empire give a masterclass in tension-and-release dynamics with their trance-inducing reinterpretation.
